Fr. Milad Selim

Dean, St. George Cathedral, Worcester, MA

Fr. Milad has served as Dean of St. George Cathedral, Worcester, MA since October 2010. He was ordained into the Deaconate in September 2009, and into the Holy Priesthood in September 2010 by His Eminence Metropolitan PHILIP, of thrice blessed memory. Prior to his theological education and ordinations, Fr. Milad worked in the telecommunications industry as project manager for Global Support Inc., where he is credited for spearheading the company’s launch into the Australian market. 


Fr. Milad was born in Baghdad, Iraq. At the age of ten, he and his family escaped Iraq as refugees and fled to Jordan, where Fr. Milad lived until age thirteen. In 1998, he immigrated to the United States where he completed his secondary and post-secondary education at Oakland University, Michigan, as well as Holy Cross School of Theology in Massachusetts. 
 

Fr. Milad and his wife, Kh. Nichole, have three children, Natalie Marie, Noah James and Julian.
